London has been a trading centre for centuries, so it makes sense that it has a wealth of hotels to suit business travellers’ requirements. The traditional financial district in London is in ‘The City’, also known as the square mile. But in addition, a newer district has opened up around Canary Wharf. 5* The Langham, London

The hotel has long welcomed business guests due to its location at Marble Arch and its proximity to Oxford Circus and the West End. Rooms all have a full-size work desk, and a media hub to connect your laptop to the TV. Guests of Executive Rooms and Suites have access to the Langham Club. Dining facilities will impress the most discerning of guests with a Michelin-starred restaurant amongst others, and the wellness centre offers a sanctuary to chill after a busy day.  

5* Conrad London St. James

In the heart of Westminster, based in a 19th-century building the hotel offer business travellers a good place to rest up after a busy day, with four drinking and dining options. It has seven meeting rooms with state-of-the-art AV and a business centre as well as an Executive lounge. The hotel offers complimentary WIFI throughout.   

5* Great Northern Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, London

London’s first railway hotel, following huge refurbishment, has reclaimed its place as a business hotel. It has excellent links to Europe as it’s located just above the St Pancras International Eurostar terminal and with Kings Cross, excellent links to the North of the UK. Other facilities include superfast WIFI, a restaurant and event spaces.    

5* Andaz London Liverpool Street – a concept by Hyatt

Located next to Liverpool Street station in the heart of the financial district, rooms feature large workstations, iPod docking stations and in-room freebies including fast WIFI and minibar.
