When your customers are travelling on business, it’s important to get things right – it can make or break the business trip. New York remains an important business hub, with many global businesses having a branch in the city and depending on where they are based it’s important to get a hotel that fits the bill. You will need to consider what is important; location, wifi connections/business centre, close to good restaurants if entertaining. It can be a bit of a minefield, but to make your life easier, we have some suggestions that could just fit the bill.

5* WestHouse New York

Its Midtown location makes the WestHouse New York a popular choice with business travellers, coupled with the ‘house away from home’ ethos to deliver a residential feel with their boutique hospitality.

The hotel has two bars/lounges including a lovely rooftop terrace to relax after a hard day in the office, along with a coffee shop/café. To kick back after heavy meetings there is a fitness centre as well as bikes for hire to explore the rest of the city.

4* Park Central Hotel New York

Located in Midtown, this is a hotel with a celebrated past and has attracted some esteemed guests over the years. Its central location offers convenience to the busiest of travellers.

The hotel is known for its state-of-the-art technology and attentive service to host meetings and events.

Rooms feature a writing desk, unlimited local and domestic long-distance calls, and little touches to keep guests comfortable. During downtime, there’s a bar and lounge/café to grab something on the go.

4* Intercontinental New York Times Square

Ideally located in Midtown, this understated luxury hotel is close to Times Square, Broadway Theatres, and not far from iconic sites like Central Park and Rockefeller Center. It has subway access nearby. Guests can enjoy American cuisine at The Stinger Bar & Kitchen or stay in and take advantage of the 24-hour room service. Buffet breakfasts are available daily for a fee.

Rooms are a good size for New York, and those on higher floors have floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the Manhattan skyline. Rooms are well equipped for the business traveller with free Wi-Fi and the hotel features a 24-hour business centre and 9 meeting rooms.

4* Row NYC

In the heart of New York’s theatre district, the Row NYC is a good value, contemporary option for the business traveller.  Surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, and everything that midtown New York has to offer.

For business travellers, the hotel has a state-of-the-art internet lounge, and all rooms feature a work desk with an ergonomic chair. The dining facilities include District M, which is a café by day and lounge by night where you can grab a Flat White in the morning on your way out and a cocktail in the evening.

4* New York Hilton Midtown

Hard to beat in terms of its location in Manhattan’s corporate centre, the NY Hilton Midtown is surrounded by excellent transport connections with the subway and Grand Central station a 10-minute walk from the hotel, making it an ideal choice for business travellers.

There are executive rooms available which enable access to the exec lounge and the facilities it offers. There is a business centre, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby for guests’ use.  The hotel has several dining options including American cuisine at Herb N Kitchen, Bridges Bar, and Lobby Lounge.
