4* Kimpton Ink 48

Located in the lively Hell’s Kitchen area of New York, the hotel has been repurposed from a former print works in the 30s and has retained more than a nod to its heritage throughout. It has a cool vibe to it, with its contemporary rooms decorated with style.

The rooftop bar ‘The Pressroom’ offers panoramic views of Midtown and the Hudson River from its good-sized outdoor terrace. Serving cocktails and local wines along with small plates, it provides the perfect place for elegantly casual drinks to watch the world below.

The in-house restaurant ‘Print’ has a farm-to-table and sustainable focus and is open for breakfast, brunch/lunch, and dinner.

Other facilities include a Spa, a business centre and free bikes to borrow.

4* Arlo NoMad

Look at any list of top ‘rooftop bars’ in New York and the Arlo Nomad will normally appear pretty high up and for good reason! Situated 31 floors up, the bar offers panoramic views along with impressive cocktails. It also has a ‘skywalk’ glass floor providing the perfect insta backdrop.

Close to the Empire State Building, it provides an urban oasis in the heart of Midtown with friendly staff and lots of little touches to make a pleasurable stay.

Other facilities include a restaurant and bar with Middle Eastern influences, a pantry serving tea and coffee, complimentary Wi-Fi, and concierge services.

4* Hilton New York Fashion District

Located between Midtown and Chelsea in the heart of the Fashion District, this Hilton provides an excellent base to kick back after a day’s shopping on 5th Avenue and sightseeing.

The Sandbar rooftop has a Hamptons beach escape feel to it on the 23rd floor with lifeguard chairs and swings to relax in with a cocktail taking in the views of Manhattan.

The hotel also has a restaurant which features ticketed live music on certain days of the week, a lobby bar, fitness centre and a business centre.

4* The Standard, HighLine

This luxury hotel is well known in New York for its cool bar, cool vibe, and location in the heart of the trendy Meatpacking District. All the rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Manhattan or the Hudson.
